Did you know that when you're over 45, you have less than a 1% chance of conceiving naturally? I didn't. Not until I recently (and rather unexpectedly) found myself as one of the less than 1%. So I got my forehead injected with Botox last week. Yep. I did. I didn't get a lot, so it's not like I'm all frozen-faced or anything. It is, however, amusing to see the cat on my lap bouncing up and down with each hiccup.

It would seem that seven months is how long it takes for the brain to normalize after quitting smoking. Seven months for me anyway. I've been doing amazingly well in recent weeks. I haven't started the antidepressant yet, but I'm doing well. Maybe the worst of this depression passed right when I hit my breaking point and saw the doctor. Anyone else ever tried that for acid reflux? I stumbled upon this home remedy online last night and gave it a try today. Some people swear by it, some say it doesn't do anything but taste bad.
